What you can expect...
Revisions
“How many revisions are included?”
There’s no one size fits all, but I aim to use the following setup for my projects:
Rent a Designer! includes unlimited revisions within the project timeframe.
Ready for Launch! includes one revision week. During that week, you can acquire up to two rounds of revisions, as long as they can be executed before the date set for final approval.
Raise the Stakes! includes two revision weeks. During those weeks, you can acquire up to three rounds of revisions, as long as they can be executed before the date set for final approval.
Payments
“Can I pay in installments?”
Yes, I have already taken this into account in all of my packages!
For both of my brand packages, you will be invoiced a deposit fee of 50 % of the total project cost to secure your project start date. The following 25 % will be invoiced in connection with your direction proposal review and the remaining 25 % in connection with your final revision review.
For all my Rent a Designer! packages, the payments will be split into one, two or three installments depending on the size of your project. All the details will be outlined in the project proposal.

I provide the following guideline documents for my brand packages:
Ready for Launch! comes with a visual style guide, which contains the essential information you need to visually communicate your brand. It’s a quick guide with instructions that will help you stay consistent when creating visuals for your brand.
Raise the Stakes! comes with brand guidelines, which is an extensive guide on how to verbally and visually communicate your brand. It contains up to 60 pages of information on how to stay on brand in every situation!

“I’m about to start my own business – which package do I need?”
Since you will receive a lot of new insights during your first year(s) in business, I would recommend you to start off with the Ready for Launch! brand package. It’s designed especially with starting businesses in mind, and it will give you the essential tools needed for establishing a cohesive and professional looking brand.
Once you’ve found your position in the market (or if you feel like you already have), you’ll find that the Raise the Stakes! brand package is the best fit for you. After a few years in business, you’ll have a better understanding of where you want your business to go and we can create your brand visuals based on your long-term business goals.
For starting businesses, I also recommend choosing at least one of the add-ons as part of their brand package. The Social Media Starter Kit and Squarespace Website are perfect for online presence, while Marketing Collateral and Packaging Templates are suitable for more traditional businesses.

“What's not included?”
Licenses
Asset licenses for commercial use
Certain fonts, images and photographs require a separate license when you intend to use them for commercial purposes. Licenses usually cost between 1–500 euro, depending on the type of asset and license you need.
These licenses have to be purchased by the user (not the designer) to avoid copyright infringement. However, you can always choose the option of only using free alternatives in your design.
Revisions
Additional revisions upon request
For our brand packages, you can acquire up to a certain amount of revision rounds during your revision week(s). However, if you want more changes to a design, you can always request additional revision rounds to be added to your package.
Additional revision rounds are priced on an hourly basis and depending on my current work load, they might need to be scheduled separately.
Printing
Printing services for digital assets
All the material created for you will be delivered in a digital format. For any printed assets you may want, you will need to order them through an external print service provider.
If you need assistance with printing your assets, just let me know during our discovery meeting and we can discuss the details further. I’m happy to give you my best advice and help with proof checking in case needed.

“What do the add-ons include and what do I need them for?”
Both of our brand packages can be combined with add-ons to suit your specific branding needs. This means that none of the add-ons are set packages and the final content can be adjusted to what will benefit you the most.
Please note that add-ons are optional and considered an additional service. They are priced separately and require at least one workday per add-on.

A few other things you might be wondering about…
“Do you offer just single logo design services?”
Honestly, a single logo won’t get you very far and it won’t be enough to create the brand recognition you initially want to achieve. For this reason, I don’t recommend anyone to invest in just logo design.
However, if you already have a visual identity for your brand and you feel that your existing logo doesn’t work anymore, I’m open to discussing the option of only updating your logo.

“Do you build visual identities around existing logos?”
Yes I do, as long as the use of your existing logo is justified and it works with the goals of your new visual identity.
I want to point out, that using an existing logo can sometimes cause limitations when designing a visual identity for a brand. To achieve the best result possible, I will go through the options with you before deciding whether you want to go forward with the project or include a logo refresh as well.

“Do you offer structural packaging design services?”
Producing structural files for product packages require certain software and tools that I don’t currently have, but I’m happy to offer this kind of service in collaboration with external service providers specializing in packaging.
In projects involving structural design, I will propose concepts that I think would work for your product and also be part of the implementation process.

“Do you offer copywriting or translation services?”
Projects that include any type of text production or copywriting, such as marketing collateral or website design, requires the texts to be provided by yourself prior to the start date.
However, I do provide suggestions on allocated texts and what type of content would be most effective for said areas.
For clients that want to produce content for the Finnish or Swedish speaking market, I do offer translation services in close collaboration with external translation providers.
“Do you offer product or brand photography services?”
Yes, in some cases I do. Usually I will be the one assisting with art direction and styling, but sometimes you can also find me behind the camera.
Both of my brand packages include imagery direction, and I like to refer my clients to photographers that I know would be a great fit for their brand.
If you’re thinking about having photos taken in connection with one of my brand design projects, just mention it during our discovery meeting and we can discuss the details further.
“Do you offer social media content production?”
If you consider social media graphics and design as part of content production, then yes I do.
I create design templates or ready graphics for clients to use on their social media channels. However, all graphics and designs will be created based on the campaign material and copy provided by the client.
For ideation, I always recommend to collaborate with any of the massively talented social media specialists that are currently available on the market.
